Defiant Forest Boss Declares 'Grant Me Time' Amid Criticism
The Forest manager is yet to secure none of his seven fixtures after taking over from the previous manager in September

He also confirmed there was no discussion with the club's owner Evangelos Marinakis over the recent pause
"I am not wasting my energy about others' opinions" he continued
"I simply don't conform, not here, across the board" he explained

"I took over Tottenham and was told by the leadership back then 'this team has to win honors'"
"He stated 'we endeavored to appoint proven winners, the Portuguese coach and Antonio [Conte] yet it proved unsuccessful, we must have a different approach'"
"I felt somewhat insulted by that since I consider myself as triumphant"
Justifying His Performance
"We finished fifth during my debut season" he noted
"Whenever the England captain scored a goal I often thought he'd just stayed one more year as it would have proven beneficial to retain him post our top-five position"
"However strangely that year has disappeared from public memory" he contended
Moving Ahead
"So, we get to the present situation in which there exists an alternative narrative to tell, that perhaps I'm no a failed manager who was fortunate to obtain this role"
"but perhaps I'm a manager that when allowed opportunity, the narrative consistently concludes similarly"
"At all my previous clubs, it ends the same - alongside me and a trophy"
Postecoglou won continental honors this year - Tottenham's first trophy for 17 years along with their initial continental honor in over four decades
